EMPTY FRIEND formed in 2015, taking their name from a track by L.A. alt-rockers FAILURE.
The band released its debut EP ‘SALTWATER in 2018 and have been bringing their energetic and uncompromising live show around the London DIY scene, Brighton, Bristol & further afield. Mixing driving guitar riffs and wailing vocals, EMPTY FRIEND draw on elements of hard rock, grunge, stoner and metal to deliver a battery of heavy, yet melodic tunes.
